Ideas for 5 child free days for DH and I?

DD has gone to her dads for 5 nights, we got married on Sunday but aren't in a position to go away away just yet. If you had a few hundred pounds to spend, and 5 days with no kids, what would you do?

So she's back for New Year?

You're unlikely to get much availability for a short stay so I guess take out, nice bottle of something, trips to the cinema, meals out.

If I had a few hundred pounds, I would go away to a decent UK based hotel for a couple of nights. And enjoy what the city where I was staying had to offer, and the facilities at the hotel.
Otherwise, I would book tickets for a "big" sporting fixture/theatre/cinema. Go for a pub lunch. Go on long walks. Go to the seaside and enjoy a deserted beach. Order a home delivery takeaway, and choose the most expensive things on the menu.
