Getting pissed off with DP when I shouldn't

NightOwl101 · 26/12/2018 22:45

My DP never goes out and drinks he always drives. I don't often go out and drink but I do he will always drop me off and pick me up, normally late But when when he's tired he'll text me and pick me up.

He's been out all day with his DB drinking which isn't like him. Said pick up at 7pm no problem, but he still isn't ready keeps saying is that okay is that okay, we'll not really I have to be up at 6am for work but feel like I can't say I'm ready for bed I'm coming now.

Just a light hearted moan really.

Can he Uber home tonight; or get a taxi? I've had to get a few today, the charges haven't been much over usual. Or could he use public transport? A train if one is still running?

It's lovely to return the favour and give him an easy way home; but he's stayed out later than you agreed and you have work tomorrow - it's absolutely fine to give him another way to get home, too.

Taxi?

NightOwl101 · 26/12/2018 23:00

He's about 35min away in the sticks so no public transport and a taxi would be a lot so. It sure that's very do able

'I'm ready to go bed now love. Shall I come & get you now, or would you rather get a taxi? Xx'

Job done.
You're not being unreasonable by wanting to go to bed.

Going to text that at 11;30 then it will be after 12 by the time I get there and see what he says then
