Did the shettles method work for anyone?

But I have two boys and am considering trying for a third. I don’t mind whether it’s a boy or a girl, but it would be lovely to experience a raising a daughter as well as sons.

Did the Shettles method work for anyone? (Mostly interested if you already had two of the same gender.)

Female sperm are tougher than male sperm, so men who do things that arent great for sperm, such as cycling, heat, etc, tend to have girls more tha boys. Not infallable, obv...

I tried it and have got two girls so I'd say yes it worked however there's no way of proving I wouldn't have had girls anyway.

I had 2 boys and was in the same situation as you. Happy to have another boy, but thought we'd give it a try. Had a girl. Tried again and had another girl. It might all be bollocks - we'll never know. No harm trying as long as you're happy for another boy!

I had sex on the day of ovulation two of the times I conceived. One was a girl, one was a boy. So 50/50 odds from me.

It worked for my sister. I was skeptical but gave it a go and it worked for me too. I wouldn't have been upset at all if it didn't work, I just wanted s baby but after so many boys it was nice to have a daughter.

@Rockingchair88 I tried the shettles method and I'm 9 +2 so I still have some time to wait until I find out. I tried the girl sway.
It's my first child so I cannot be too picky of the gender I guess but I thought it's worth a shot as a always pictured myself with a daughter 😊 my partners auntie currently has a little girl (didn't try any sway) and she's pregnant now with her second , she told me she tried the shettles method as she'd love another girl and she just found out last week... it's a boy!
So I guess it doesn't always work but it's fun to give it a go xx

This may be total bollocks but aren't there slightly more boy than girl babies born via ivf? Which would be the day of ovulation which watches with trying for a boy? Or did I make that up totally?

I didn't follow the Shettles method and had a girl, sex was the evening before ovulation.

I was just reading about this on Wikipedia and noticed this ... sex every two hours from 5am!
