£100 gift, what to spend it on?

My husband and I were very generously given a gift of £100 yesterday and we can't decide what to do with it Grin (#firstworldproblem, I know).

The same relative has given us money as a present before which is of course lovely, and we've usually bunged it into the savings account but this time I want to do something fun with it.

The concept of fun is not alien to my husband and I, although I do believe we've become alarmingly set in our ways - "fun" usually consists of a couple of bottles of red in front of a film on Saturday night - we're not really spontaneous or adventurous people but I'm sure we were back in the dim and distant past!

So I thought I'd ask on here - if you had £100 to spend on fun, what would you do? I'd love some inspiration!

How about spending it on tickets to the theatre or a concert?

I'd put the money towards tickets to see Hamilton I think -but you'd need to add to it!

A night out, either theatre, nice meal or a concert. Maybe an overnight stay in a hotel, some good deals to be had with careful looking.
