Just that, really. Got all my visiting done over the weekend so yesterday was me, DD and DP. DD (19 & ASD) gave herself exactly the right amount of time to herself in her room that her time with us was lovely. We ate and drank lots but not to gluttony/drunkenness. We agreed on the tv we watched and nobody argued. I do sometimes put myself under a lot of pressure to do the "perfect" Christmas but I realised yesterday that average is actually a wonderful thing!

To be clear: I think my Christmas was fab because I didn't pressure myself to have a perfect one this year!

It sounds a lovely day.
I spent it on my own. I went shopping after work on Christmas eve, got everything I need, much of it reduced. I cooked myself a full roast dinner which is something I hardly ever do. I had messages from people I care about but didn't speak to anyone all day. I had a lovely peaceful time.
I'm visiting friends today to watch football on TV and we're having Chinese takeaway.
Ba k to work tomorrow and I'm going away on a city break on Friday.
It's been great.

sounds lovely. We visited grandparents at the weekend so it was just me and my son, 14 and ASD. Lazy start, did the phone calls/texts to family. He played on the PS4 and I snoozed. He helped me make dinner - lasagne and apple crumble, then we sang a long to the Greatest Showman. Perfect
