Help! Gammon netting - do I leave on while it cooks or not?

Depends how you are colliding. I left the net on for the poaching but and took it off and glazed for the roasting bit.

Cheers Gwyn - that's what I was leaning towards. Will boil with it on then take it off for the glazing stage.

Sorry, I meant suimmer,not boil.
Put the ham in cold water, bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer.
