Can I just have a moan please?

My sons dad was supposed to be picking him up at 8am so they can have their Christmas Day today, I’ve just seen on his Instagram (we follow eachother) that he’s up and still drinking. Obviously I’m not going to let him have our son today but it is too much to ask that he acts like a responsible adult?

I’m in work later on today so I’m not entirely sure who can even have my son today. I’m so angry he does this regularly and then moans that he doesn’t see our son enough, yet whenever I tell him it’s because of his actions he doesn’t even attempt to change.

Agh sorry I just needed to moan somewhere and I have nowhere else to vent atm

You are quite entitled to moan. Letting a kid down on boxing day is pretty lousy

I am moaning too. The taxi from work was supposed to pick me up at 20.00. Despite several phone calls at 22.00 still not turned up even though several other taxis from company took off other workers. At 22.30 I ended up cancelling and walking home. Got in at 23.45 not feeling much like cooking myself a Christmas dinner.

I had already checked that a taxi was picking me up at around 6.15 today. I bet you cannot guess what happend? I kept ringing and being told 20 minutes. Eventually at 7.30 it came but due to the taxi drivers love of going all around London I did not get in until 08.00 - an hour after I should have done!

Yes I know it is a first world problem or whatever but when you are standing outside (phone doesn't work as well inside my building) for hours and you have a cold it is not fun! They never texted me to confirm which worried me so like a lady of the night every time a cab came by I had to ask who they were waiting for!

I wish I had known that the buses had started early this morning as I had been told not until 9am. However on my ride around the whole of West London I saw plenty of buses!!!

A taxi came for someone else at 6.15 for same place and like a good girl I thought I won't insist on sharing this cab and cancelling mine...oh no. Well next year I am going to be a bitch!!!

Mind you- to put this into perspective - one of our porters has had to drop everything and go to see his dying FIL. No trains. Coaches booked up. He luckily has the case for a taxi - £230!!!!!!
