Lonely

Whilst I love Christmas for my youngest (5 yrs old) I do find it incredibly lonely as a single parent. Today’s highlights were call the midwife and eastenders. Please someone tell me I’m not alone in the highlight being the Christmas tv schedule.

Ah you are not alone, it's just that all the hype around Christmas shows happy extended families but it's not like that for a lot of folk. Good that you were with your dc. Do you have parents, siblings or cousins? Will you be seeing them or other friends over the next few days?

My family live quite far away but I will see them tomorrow as I have to take my little boy to them as they will look after him whilst I’m at work got a couple of days. I know I’m not the only one who feels alone though it’s just this feeling that it’s got to be a great day. Hope you had a lovely day x
