Anyone having a lovely Christmas so far?

Lovely Christmas Eve; at my mums last night for dinner with all of our gang and my mil and bil too. Then church before coming home to put ds to bed and watch a film with DH.

Everyone round at ours today and had a lovely day, DH basically single handedly sorted dinner for everyone while I entertained and sorted drinks. The kids played nicely all day too, not too much crying for such small kids.

All is quiet now, DH and I are having a drink and listening to some music feeling happy with our lot

Yep! Woke up this morning with ds1&2, their dad came for the morning to see them open presents, we visited my parents this afternoon for lunch. We've played so many games. Now we are all laid on the sofa eating and chatting. Super late night for them usually in bed 7:30 but they've been amazing all day and I'm in no rush for them to go to bed and spend any of xmas day on my own.

I did. We all (20 of us) went to mass this morning, the rest of my guests arrived and there were 35 of us for lunch. The house was happy, chaotic and a good time was had by all. I did a buffet supper, the people not staying over have rolled/crawled/mooched home.

I'm now sat with a glass of Grand Marnier and DH has a mug of tea nearly as big as he is...life is good!
