After cooking my first ever Christmas dinner.What's everyone else doing?

Still mid-cooking, have a bit of a short break before the next bits go in the oven so I'm sitting down with a glass of wine before the 'pinger' calls!

Dh is doing all the cooking this year with help from my brothers so I am sitting relaxing maybe a little tipsy, with relatives & watching dc play with toys 😍 Dinner will be ready at 3

Prep all done. Just waiting for the turkey to be cooked to put everything else on

DH and DS at the park burning off some energy; DD and DS2 watching Arthur Christmas. Having a(nother) glass of wine after doing a 3 mins sweep/tidy and may crack open a new book for 30 mins.
Dinner won’t be til 4.30. A very quiet Christmas.

I'm drinking cheapo prosecco and snacking on cheese and olives. Dinner is tonight.
but I've just opened an Amazon delivery....bottle of not cheapo prosecco + a bottle of Merlot.
So that's NYE sorted then
