Help! Does baby Annabell need this plastic pipe?!

I didn’t witness the full unboxing but this plastic pipe was half out of the the back of the sleepsuit when I intervened. I can’t figure out where it is supposed to go!
The baby seems to cry and wee successfully. Is this just a confusing piece of the packaging?

Could it be a replacement wee / cry tube? Or maybe it's her crack pipe! Grin[

Email Zapf Creations - they are pretty good at answering queries.
(can't help you about Annabell though - she is about the only dolly we don't own)!

Kezzie200 · 25/12/2018 18:10

Maybe its useful if she gets a UTI?

shecamefromgreece · 25/12/2018 21:23

PML at baby Annabelles crack pipe Grin

😂😂 thank you. I have just realised the question is also pretty meaningless without the picture

Does it fit anywhere?

ShoutyMcShoutFace · 25/12/2018 22:11

It fits exactly into Annabell’s mouth but only the initial few mm before it narrows for the bottle to fit in more snugly. I hope that makes sense. Her plumbing all seems perfectly intact so I don’t know if it was maybe holding her head in the box or something. Confused

Place marking as I also have the random piece of pipe from a brand new baby Annabelle! I have noticed that she doesn't cry or wee so am thinking this pipe might play a crucial role in the waterworks department!

StateofIndependance · 25/12/2018 22:16

I threw that out earlier today. Felt mild panic when I read the thread title. Very mild.

ShoutyMcShoutFace · 25/12/2018 23:26

Ah splendid, glad it’s not just me then! Rachy have you given her enough water from the bottle? I had to google for instructions which involve pushing the bottle with unreasonable firmness into the mouth and squeezing the bottle repeatedly. Unsurprisingly she then cried real water.

It’s to pump her stomach when she accidentally drinks the remnants of the Christmas alcohol.

Chloeanne1 · 26/12/2018 12:08

I’ve got this too and no idea what it’s for?! Also - Annabell seems to get very wet, I know she’s crying the water but is this normal?! It seems to get everywhere!!

Rachyabbadabbadoo · 26/12/2018 13:20

Thank you! We now have a crying baby, although agree with previous poster that it soaks everything! Think maybe we need a Baby Annabell User Support Group.... I used the spare pipe to blow some bubbles in my gin last night.

bookmum08 · 26/12/2018 13:40

When I worked at Woolworths a customer bought her Annabell back because it wouldn't switch off - ie stop crying. "Oh dear" I said "Perhaps she has colic". Oh the filthy look that customer gave me!
(This is why I went for Baby Born rather than Annabell when my girl wanted a dolly!)

ShoutyMcShoutFace · 26/12/2018 14:07

Yes!! When she cried everything did get soaked. Definitely need the Annabell support group. My DD doesn’t seem at all bothered when she cries, and just leaves her saying she’ll be fine, but it makes my boobs tingle Blush

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 26/12/2018 15:03

Annabell’s head has fallen off! I have no idea how to reattach it.

Frasa · 26/12/2018 15:46

I was pondering the same piece of plastic tube earlier - no idea what to do with it myself. DD doesn’t realise the doll really cries and wees so I think we’ll leave it that way!

Rac4el · 27/12/2018 09:44

I had same thing and was very confused so msgd Zaft. Their reply; We can confirm that the tube is part of the packaging and secures the doll to the cardboard back plate. All packaging and ties should be removed before giving the toy to the child.

DaisyS2013 · 29/12/2018 20:58

Thank god! I have been holding onto it thinking it must be some integral part. Glad I’m not the only one

ShoutyMcShoutFace · 30/12/2018 09:35

Rac4el brilliant, thanks for being the sensible one and asking them Grin.
