How do I know if an Australian Amazon eGiftCard has been sent?

In the order status does it confirm delivery? It said 5 minutes but I sent it a couple of hours ago now.

I've only had the tick to confirm it's been sent(amazon USA) have had to wait for confirmation of receipt from recipients.
Hold your nerve, OP, make allowances for time differences/if they have a smartphone permanently attached to person/politeness(?) of recipient...
