There was a knock on my door and I, obviously unreasonably, thought one of my grown children or one of their minions who they've brought home with them would get the door.

Twenty minutes or so later I ask who was at door. Blank looks all around.
I open door and present on my doorstep (it's obviously a tub of sweets). It's from my neighbour, we do get on.

I grab her wrapped present (tub of heroes) and pop round to give her them.

I make joke saying we've obviously thought of the same thing and we laugh, little chat and I leave.
Just opened the present- its heroes.

She's going to think I regifted isn't she?
Would you?
I make a joke

You’re thoughtful to take a gift, that’s what matters

😂 No it's nice! That would be a hilariously cheeky thing to do though. Imagine finding a present on your doorstep and instantly rewrapping and taking it back saying it's from you.
