How can I help friend?

A friend of mine is at a really low point. She is suffering hugely from anxiety and is constantly battling anxiety attacks. She's recently gone onto medication but it's known to be worse in the early days and she's so low. She rang earlier in bits but I can't reason with her or calm her down.
She's in a permanent spiral of tears and panic attacks. She doesn't have many people to talk to.

I've invited her to come around and stay tonight but she's declined as she says she'll pace all night (I've told her this doesn't matter). She's recently moved and I don't know her new address so I can't go around. I'm running out of ideas to help her at the moment.

Oh god , are you talking about me ?
This is exactly my story ( apart from moving) .

The increased anxiety when you first take the tablets is awful ( I paced a lot , just couldn’t sit still) . You have offered support and I’m sure she’s grateful. For me a daily text would help, just to know I’m not forgotten.

You sound like a lovely supportive friend. Just keep in touch by text and reiterate your offer that she is welcome to come to yours.
