Bloody sugar tax

Just cracked open a Sanpellegrino orange a Christmas treat to find they've ruined it. It's now like orange juice mixed with soda water which isn't as nice.
I was looking forward to these. Do you think it would work with gin?

I used to treat myself to those, no longer do as I can’t stand artificial sweeteners.
I have substituted it with Innocent orange juice and sparkling mineral water.

Also pissed off about this, even Ribena now has artificial sweetener. I get a blinding headache with sweetener. Normally drink water or tea. Occasionally used to like a sanpellegrino, orangina, or ribena especially when full of the cold.

All now undrinkable. Very few cordials that only have sugar left now

I'm with you OP. I actually have a few cans of old style lemon San Pellegrino that I'm slowly working my way through. Might have one with some gin later.

I've been looking for cranberry juice, because I think I read that it went well with fizz, or gin, or something, I can't remember, but every single one I've looked at recently has bastard sweeteners in. Grr.

However, there are a few unsweetened water and flavouring options coming through (eg M&S lemon and ginger) but none that are really suitable as mixers.

M&S or Waitrose do sweetner free high juice, as a more affordable cordial option than Belvoir etc.

My go to non alcoholic pub drink is now ruined. I had a desgusting sweetner filled lime and soda the other day, but an alcohol free Old Mout 'cider' which was nothing like cider, but quite a nice fruity fizz, but obviously much more expensive than lime and soda.
