Last hour food shopping

I got no ready made red cabbage. I found a red cabbage, I decided it was too much work to make my own and decided to go without.

I got a few bargains. Half price beef Wellington for dinner tonight.

I also had a giggle. A woman moaned about people pushing and shoving to get a bargain, then pushed past myself and another woman to the front. I smiled to myself at the projection of the sharp elbowed.

How did you get on?

Just got some emergency supplies as everyone is poorly with d&v. Got a nice chicken, bacon and sausages to make pigs in b, stuffing some veg and ice cream. No fancy versions of those things around although I could have spent £30 on a turkey. I left the rich starters and puddings but it was possible.

Hopefully your house will be doing better tomorrow.
