How would you spend Christmas day with a child if you don't have any family?

Hello Pho2Mum,
You are talking here about my dream Christmas and I'd have to reply ' Anything you like!'
I know my fav little things to do but what are yours?

Fishcakey · 24/12/2018 11:09

Did it once just me and DS. We watched rubbish TV, played with Lego all day, ate lots. It was a lovely day.

Anything you want! Eat junk after dinner stay in pjs play board games and video games together (if they do) watch movies, make your own rules be silly put your coats and hats I'm go for a stroll (bring the dog if you have one/borrow an elderly neighbours) in your pyjamas make funny memories, then 10/20 years down the line they'll go remember that Christmas it was just us and we did XYZ x

OP what did you do in the end...Did you have a lovely day

Pho2Mum · 29/12/2018 09:35

We had a lovely day. Went for a stroll, baking, experiment with bubbles, watched fav shows. We generally have great times together but it's this time of the year when everyone has someone to go to and We don't.
