After slagging him off in an earlier post last week for putting his kids on everything (which I still stand by!), I listened in part to his farewell show this morning, he said all his thank yous early and paid a huge emotional and heartfelt tribute to his wife and friends. Then he played a live recording from an earlier show by Gregory Porter, I'm not ashamed to say that I had a tear in my eye listening to it. The amount of money he has raised for Children in Need is phenomenal, fair play to him for making the effort. The credit he gave to his wife for all his achievements was fantastic, a pleasure to hear, bravo Chris!
