Trying to remember, but can't even think who was in it!

A comedy set in the sort of English village that you get in the Holiday. About a family, big house, granny lives with them I think. Mother harassed and unfulfilled planning to run off with the tennis coach. There may be a body to be hidden or moved in comedy fashion or maybe someone just thought there was. Quirky kid and teen angst - but like Outnumbered kids but a bit more Paddington in feel...

Quite well known 'stars' in it, like Kate Winslet or maybe someone American in there..

Not much to go on... sorry but bugging me! I thought it was quite funny in a gentle Holiday sort of way.

The tennis coach bit sounds familiar. Is the dad a vicar?

wierdwords · 23/12/2018 20:04

Ooh yes he could be.

Keeping mum?

babycakes1010 · 23/12/2018 20:05

Sorry meant to say has Patrick swayze and Rowan Atkinson

Childrenofthesun · 23/12/2018 20:06

Is it the one with Patrick Swayze as a golf/tennis pro? Think it might be Keeping Mum as babycakes said.

CatnissEverdene · 23/12/2018 20:07

Keeping Mum.

Literally one of my favourite films ever! Patrick Swayze played the Mum's golf coach, and it's Rowan Atkinson and Kristin Scott Thomas.

Keeping mum

I love that film!

wierdwords · 23/12/2018 20:08

Yes, thank you! It is Keeping Mum! The vicar tip was enough to get me to it!

Was my description quite good then? Grin
