Baileys Hot Chocolate.

How do you make yours?

I usually put a double of Baileys at the bottom of the cup and then top up with Green and Blacks cocoa (made with MILK) - top with whipped cream and a few chocolate shavings/chocolate syrup.
But it still doesn't feel decadent enough.

Anyone got any tips?

We have a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Hot chocolate pod with some Baileys added afterwards 😋

Vitalogy · 23/12/2018 18:27

Sounds rich enough to me. But what about block chocolate melted, a quarter cup maybe, then whole milk.

Stephisaur · 23/12/2018 18:27

I use the chocolate baileys.

Pour a bit into my mug, use a really creamy hot chocolate (either my dolce gusto or one made with milk on the hob), whipped cream and a flake to top :)

Nah, cointreau, mate.

Like molten terry's chocolate orange. Lush.

Oooh haven't made this for years! But when I did, I just stirred a capful into the heated cocoa once it was ready to drink.

@Sarge17 oooo I have a Tassimo - good idea!

@Vitalogy it's just missing something. Not sure what. That's a very good idea though!

@Stephisaur I have the luxe Baileys, is that the one you mean?

@vivariumvivariumsvivaria (could you pick a more difficult name to type!!) I don't like orange flavours, but nice idea!

@wellhonestly that's another good idea!

I want to try them all. I'll either be very sick, very drunk or both by bedtime.
Will report back Grin

@WhoTookTheChristmasCookie yes :)

Melt some milk chocolate into milk in a sauce pan and, right at the end, stir in a little baileys

JustMarriedAndLovingIt · 23/12/2018 19:10

Yours sounds very similar to ours but we also add mixed spice to it.

Apileofballyhoo · 23/12/2018 19:13

I think yours isn't chocolatey enough.

Koutouloufari · 23/12/2018 19:13

It’s missing a shot of amaretto aswell Grin
