I bought a leg of lamb about 2 weeks ago ready for Christmas day It was a fresh one and I put it straight into the freezer. When should I take it out to defrost its 2.2kg and I plan to cook it Christmas morning.

I'm taking my pork and sausages out tomorrow night to defrost overnight in kitchen? Or should I give them 24h in fridge to defrost?

It's always safer to let them defrost in the fridge imho then give them a few hours outside of the fridge just before cooking if necessary.
