I was dreading it but due to series of other commitments today was the only day I could do it. Got to Aldi at 1pm, loads of trolleys.
Managed to get every single thing on my list & was back in the car 30mins later! I am so bloody happy.

My list included:

Specially select Bronze turkey (in the hessian sack)
specially select sherry trifle
smoked salmon
artisan brown bread
braised red cabbage
all the veg
fresh real orange juice
champagne
4 x red wine
organic eggs
organic milk
specially select sausages, bacon & pudding for christmas morning breakfast
mince pies
baileys whipped cream
specially select yule log
sparkling water
christmas crackers
potato gratin
mash
cheeses
crackers
fresh white bread
cranberry and port sauce

It cost me just under £100!!

There was tons of everything and it was busy but not mobbed and it was so handy to be in and out so fast. I am chilling out with a glass of red wine now!

This is why I love Ald.
I've h ad to pop in a couple of times over the weekend, and they've had extra staff in, all tills open, and everyone in my Aldi goes with the system of whizzing thru the checkout (unlike so many MN protestors) so it is all done and dusted in a short space of time.

I went to Lidl today and was similar - not too busy and had everything I wanted.

We have a Lidl nearby and I fucking hate it, food is shit, poor quality and the shop itself is awful. An Aldi opened up the road and I knew it would be the same as Lidl so wasn’t particularly enthusiastic...it’s not! Aldi is ace! I love how much I’d the meat is British, it’s tadty and excellent quality!

Even happier, the shop has proper tolls that you pack at rather then the packing station!

I darent use our Aldi for fresh stuff. There's something wrong with their stock controls.

Even this week picking upwhat I do buy there I saw stuff on the shelves a week beyond its sell by date!

Anyway congrats to you! I've friends who use other stores and buy everything there too.
