RING doorbell query

The instructions mention security screws at base.
Can the unit be unscrewed (by owner) once installed?
We may be getting new front door and frame (where doorbell is) next year and I want to be able to transfer the RING

I can't remember but their online chat help has been reliably good when I've used it.

Thanks, I might give them a try (possibly after Xmas)
Can I ask why you needed to ask for help? I'm hoping wiring this thing won't be beyond me!

It was about the connecting up to WiFi and another time about whether to get the additional chimes thing as our connection was a bit weak. They didn't try to sell us it either - actually advised against it in our circumstances. We got a WiFi extender from Maplins instead which works perfectly

Our front door is fairly close to the router so hopefully that won't be a problem.
I've bought a Chime too because it was cheaper in a bundle than the doorbell alone!
