Enhanced DBS check?

Hi, I was previously sacked in a job for making a joke to a co-worker who complained. HR didn't find it funny and sacked me on the spot. Don't ask for details, employers frankly don't care and only care if you was sacked.

Got a new job in an accountancy office after omitting my previous job (lasted 7 months) from my CV. Don't talk about morals as if I kept it on my CV I'd still be unemployed.

I'm looking for a weekend job, found something suitable but the customers can involve children at times. I'm guessing they''ll require a DBS/Enhanced DBS check? Doesn't say in the advert.

Should I list the previous employer for the DBS check? I don't plan on putting them on my CV, don't want to lose the job opportunity by letting them know I was sacked in the past. My current employer has done a CRB check, will that be enough? I've been with my current employer for 2 years 10 months.

DBS checks don't require you to give the details of previous employers.

What you need to give is your name and address history

Being sacked from a job has no baring on your DBS! That's for criminal records, convictions (spent and unspent), and cautions.

Yep DBS checks don't ask for job history and this won't appear. Jobs that require dbs' tend to be more careful at checking job history though and gaps in your work history. Also you do know omitting a job from cv could be a sackable offence?
