Many thanks for cards sent to my Dad :)

I mentioned on another thread in here that my Dad (91, dementia, prostate cancer, one leg and a few other ailments) no longer gets many Christmas cards - and you lot came up trumps :) I was overwhelmed with PMs offering to send cards - I hope I responded to all of them - sorry if I missed any. Anyway, here's a couple of pics of the wonderful selection we ended up with - if you don't spot yours in here it may be that they're on another flat surface in Dad's room (not much open space left!) or arrived after I took the pics.

I just wanted to say thanks so much to you all - he was so pleased to open them, he rarely remembers who anyone (apart from me!) is nowadays, so was easily convinced that they were from 'my friends'. It's made our Christmas, really it has :)

Oh, and that's the man himself in the electronic photo frame, taken a few years ago when he was still able to get out and about :)

Bumping for the morning(ish) crowd...

SyrilSneer · 23/12/2018 12:36

This has thoroughly restored my faith in humanity and the spirit of Christmas admittedly being riled by another thread full of horrible sanctimonious comments to someone struggling. Hope you and your Dad have a wonderful Christmas.
