I said I would update if I received a response.

Some of you may remember I posted (different name) about UC.
Had given up hope of receiving a response as I emailed 5th December.
Just got a letter in the post with House of Commons on the outside of the envelope - thought I was being summoned to the PM or something (vivid imagination). I opened the envelope with the reverence such an important letter deserves.

The nicely worded letter basically says he has written to the DWP and will let me know when they respond. He has underlined in pen 'to respond to the matters you have raised'. Which I thought was a nice dramatic touch, fitting to the solemnity and gravity of the matters I had raised.

So there you have it. If I hear further, I'll update you, so that you can base future votes on actual actions, rather than random rantings of 300+ MPs where they all merge into one.

The wording of the letter seems to suggest that I believe they have calculated my entitlement incorrectly. He's wrong there. They calculated it correctly based on their ridiculous 'policies' We'll see what I hear. Don't hold your breaths!
