Do you feel pressured to ‘do’ things?

Reading the Saturday plans thread, which is mostly lovely, I had a sudden feeling of pressure to get dressed and ‘do’ something.

Took the kids to see FC yesterday and out for dinner. I’ve done all the cleaning and food shopping (yesterday whilst youngest was at nursery). Done all the present buying (just need to wrap them all 😬).

Next week is full on everyday

Monday - Hosting
Xmas Day - In Laws
Boxing Day - Parents
27th - party at friends
28th - Hosting again

So currently DD (10) is up in her room writing stories. DS (2) is watching Planes and generally wrecking the good cleaning I did yesterday and H is at his Hobby. I’m still in my PJ’s on MN and I just feel a bit Xmas Blush about it. Like I should be getting the kids out for a walk or something.

H is out tonight and tomorrow the plans are much similar to today, with just wrapping presents to do.

Am I/we being lazy/bad parents?

Wondered if anyone else felt like this? Not just at Christmas. FB/Instagram is full of people doing ‘things’

God no. Enjoy a lazy day before the socialising!

No. I never do anything I don't want to.

Never any day, all year round.

Wish I could have that attitude @LaurieFairyCake

Maybe I should make it a NY resolution.

Do need to walk the dog so will incorporate kids in that so they at least get some fresh air!
