How to look after a drunk person!!!

My DH isn’t a big drinker, one or two on the weekends nothing major. I have NEVER seen him drunk. He joined a new company this year so this is his first Christmas night out with them.

Just picked him up and he is absolutely fucking wasted, I don’t know how to cope with this he has vomited for the last hour and dry retching and scared me quite a bit. He is now in bed beside me snoring his head off, I’ve a bucket beside him. I’m scared to go to sleep! Well he be ok? I’ve never had to deal with this before!!

He will be fine!

Are you able to turn him over, so that if he is sick, he won't choke on it if you are asleep (unlikely, but it depends on how tired you are) Like the recovery position?

Yea he is sleeping in his side, I think I’ll stay awake another while just to keep an eye on him. Couldn’t believe it when I picked him up! I’m gonna have to listen to some shite tomorrow aren’t I!!! 🤣

If he wakes up get him to drink water, eat a banana & take 2 paracetamol before going back to sleep. He needs to drink loads of water over the weekend and no alcohol as a punishment.

If you have rehydration salts in the house, mix him a pint of that to sip as well as water.

He’s going to want a lot of carbs and salt to eat today.

Worse thing somebody ever did was lecture me on my behaviour last night and made me feel embarassed made the hangover much worse.
I always fancy a McDonald's cheese burger!

He woke up about 8am and drank a pint of water and took 2 tablets, didn’t want anything to eat but insists he is fine 😏 I think he is a bit embarrassed 🤣 he will be getting up soon as we are going to pick up DSS (I’m driving), think I’ll buy us all a chinese tonight he will definitely need it 😂 thanks for the advice ladies.
