Bold wee fella, watched me wee while I tried to think what to do! Traps tomorrow I think. I had them in my old place and it sent me into an ocd tailspin so I’m surprised how calm I am to be honest

My cats used to bring them in and release them and watch me set up eloborate runs and traps to rival the childhood game Mousetrap, just for their personal amusement. Cats are assholes.

Ive had so much practise at catch-and-release of field mice, it is on my CV.

Where?
There on the stair?
Was it wearing clogs?

FlibbertyGiblets · 22/12/2018 00:46

Though I spect you're all too young to get an earworm from me.

frankie001 · 22/12/2018 00:50

flibberty not that young! I’m on the second floor so it did come up the stairs, there! No clogs though.

Really hoping it’s the one, has fingers in ears ignoring the theory that if you have one you have lots!

We only had the one. Try some chocolate in a humane trap but be prepared to release it some distance away.

frankie001 · 22/12/2018 00:55

Thanks brizzle I treated myself to some peanut butter today, I must have known!

Just spent 2 hours cleaning, and traps set. Feel on edge!

Awwwww. The little cutie pie. I'm so Envy. I love mice.
What color was he.

Vintagevixen · 22/12/2018 16:20

Is the season, they come in from the cold!

My cat has dispatched three for me over the last few days, cat and poison (pre cat) are the only things that worked for me. I live in a Victorian house full of holes. Cat does occasionally bring them in too, but generally gets them in the end!

I'm fairly used to them now, in fact was sat on the sofa sewing last night while said cat chased mouse around the living room cheered on by me.

MiddlingMum · 22/12/2018 16:38

House mouse or confused field mouse?

frankie001 · 22/12/2018 17:14

He was brown, don’t say it’s a field mouse!

Prompted me to do a more in depth clean I suppose pose!

It's not to do with how clean your house is necessarily, it's to get out of the cold and there must be an access point somewhere.
