Does anybody have a patio I could borrow?

I'm in bed trying to get to sleep.

DH has a blocked ear and has put some oil in it. It's itching, so he keeps jamming his finger in it and wiggling it about, making a surprisingly loud noise like somebody using a sink plunger in a buc

Damn touch screens... a bucket of thick mud.

Is there a jury in the land that would convict me, do you think?

I've bunked down in a bathroom before now to get away from a snorer, you have my sympathy

There's good moon visibility so he can pitch a tent :)

If you replace the weed matting and gravel you could put him under my deck.

DH keeps biting his really short, really sore-looking fingernail. Hmm

Horsemad · 22/12/2018 02:53

My DH is snoring, been on work do.

I miss brookside

CigarsofthePharoahs · 22/12/2018 08:11

I'd like to replace my deck with a proper patio so if you do the work I'll give you a cast iron alibi.

FuckBrussel · 22/12/2018 08:21

You're all very kind. @MrsPratcett, that would bug me horribly too.

DH's ear unblocked itself at 5 past 7 this morning. It is now blocked again. I know because he is giving me ear updates whether I want them or not (and whether I was asleep or not... Angry )

@Cigars, don't be surprised if a rather dishevelled woman with a shovel and a surprisingly heavy bin bag appears on your doorstep sometime soon.

Graaagh.

You should have posted this last week as he could have gone under our new porch. The builders are lovely, I'm sure they wouldn't have minded.

EggysMom · 22/12/2018 08:56

Sorry, my sympathy is for your DH. My ear blocked in a similar way five days ago. I feel horribly unbalanced. I have been methodic about putting oil/drops in twice a day, but am seeing no respite - does the "drops & wait" method actually work for anybody????
