Ditto. It started off badly on 2 January and has gone down and down since then. Unfortunately 2019 will carry the ripples for months yet.

Has felt like a year of limbo for me. I had 2 goals this year - move house and conceive/have DC2. Lost a pregnancy at 12 weeks (was a MMC so only 8 weeks really) and then ended up pulling out of a house sale at the time as we couldn't deal with it all at once.

Now waiting to exchange on a house and hoping for a bfp around new year so hoping that 2019 is an improvement.

Have had some lovely times though, it's not all been bad.

Absolutely awful year. I'm not particularly hopeful for 2019 but if we get through without any friends or family deaths that will be a plus.

Every year is like this as you get older. I’ve had to learn to enjoy some good bits (no matter how small) along the way.

Sorry to read of the bad years some people have had. Here's to a better 2019. For us 2018 has been fairly uneventful. I enjoyed the heatwave in the summer mind.

For me 2018 started crap, got a whole lot worse, then got better, then was truly dreadful, then in the last few months has started to get better again. A rollercoaster year, I'm hoping for more stability in 2019. I don't even want good, just average without any really shitty bits.

Oh yes. Truly not fabulous. And 2019 isn't looking like it will be any better.
