DD has thrush constantly! or STI?

DD 3 has thrush at least once a month. I took her to the doctor who said they would do a swab to check it was definitely that and if so would refer to paeds to see why it is recurring.

Test results are in - "normal, no action to be taken".

Now I am confused. DH thinks it could be related to the fact that DD birth mum had STIs when pregnant with her.

Could this have effected DD? She was born by Csection.

Might be an idea to keep a food diary and see if anything affects her symptoms.

Apparently I had thrush repeatedly as a baby and young toddler. All I know is that I had it from my medical records. I’ve never had it since. My birth parents raised me so wasn’t an s.t.i

Try citricidal - grapefruit seed extract - it is extraordinarily effective at getting rid of thrush. It is very bitter though so you'll have to disguise it. And use in moderation.

When I posted something similar about my 5 year old, everyone said threadworms....and they were right!

I react to sanpro and use a brand called TOTM off the internet and have been fine since then, unbleached, I scented organic cotton, Tesco have just started selling them too. I also react to most scented soaps, bath products and shaving foams. Interestingly some non/bio washing stuff sets me off, the ones with the extra cleaning stuff in them, have to use simple Persil nonbio. The Canesten Canesfresh Soothing wash is very good it is really soothing and I use Sanex shower gel
