As a single mother, I wasn't allowed to take more than one child under 8 in the water with me at the council pool (or sit on the edge with my legs in the water and watch them from two feet away), so perhaps I'd have expected an unofficial swimming teacher to be one-on-one.

I am not a single mother. I am not any kind of mother but I am fat and lazy so can I have free lessons please?

It was posted on Reddit a few weeks ago, there was some speculation and people went through the OP's comment history and it did seem to tally up.

There is a website where you can fake these messages, but this didn't have the hall mark.

Ahj, Ive seen you have posted the link to the sub, I think it initially started on another one and ended up there, I will try and find it when I get back, also the imgr hosting has a load of people sleuthing on it
