Due to not having a garden big enough for the requested pony, mine is having a smart TV for her room.

That's pretty much it for her apart from clothes, pjs and tickets to see The Bodyguard for me and her to have a little night out next year.

DragonMamma · 21/12/2018 08:07

My DD is 11 but we have bought her a trip to NYC in a March and a hoverboard

SandunesAndRainclouds · 21/12/2018 08:08

11yo (close enough?!) DD has an adult sized commuter-style scooter and a nice watch then small bits like t-shirt, jumper, a game.

Waxahatchee · 21/12/2018 08:09

Blimey ! One has a watch, the other a Alexa both £25

youngestisapsycho · 21/12/2018 08:09

Trainee zoo keeper for a day is the main/most expensive one.... then little things like pens for glass/plastic, Friends trivia game, phone case, small backpack....

Screaminginsidemeagain · 21/12/2018 08:10

Mine has a cymbal and the hardware-

knittedjest · 21/12/2018 08:17

Dd's birthday is on the 23rd so her big present there is a new bike. For Christmas she is getting saddle bags for her pony so she can go out trail riding on our property all day and pretend she's a lord of the rings character and custom made blades for her figure skates which are blue with her name engraved on them.

haba · 21/12/2018 08:18

My 12yo DD is having a Nintendo DS xl, and she's v excited about it. It's a tricky age though- want to be grown up, but still little girls really. ... If she was into clothes/make up it would be done in minutes!

beachyhead · 21/12/2018 08:22

A wireless speaker so she can play music in her room

MeltingWax · 21/12/2018 08:25

DD reckons she is the only one in her year at school (year 7) who doesn't have a smartphone Hmm and she has asked for one.

She is also getting a tenor recorder with a nice case but I appreciate that might be a bit random for your DD - unless she is already a recorder player Grin.

JakeBallardswife · 21/12/2018 08:26

God, some generous parents here!

We’ve got DD an Alexa dot, jumper, DM’s bag etc

AlexandraPeppernose · 21/12/2018 08:26

Clothes and a Bluetooth speaker

Tidypidy · 21/12/2018 08:27

A flask to take hot ribena to school, slippers, books, small light box.

MyOtherProfile · 21/12/2018 08:29

She's probably right. She will love you forever if this is what you have got her.
We have got our 11 year old a speaker for her room and some jewellery she wanted plus a few books.

Jfw82 · 21/12/2018 08:30

A Fitbit is main gift(she had echo dot last year) then assorted clothes jewellery make up bits

MeltingWax · 21/12/2018 08:33

MyOtherProfile - yes, we have got her an iPhone SE. At the moment she has a Nokia and is very embarrassed by it. In technology class they all had to get their phones out to measure them as they were making phone holders - she told the teacher she had left her phone at home.

haba · 21/12/2018 08:36

Mine doesn't have a smartphone, and definitely isn't the only one at her school that doesn't, and they're Y8.
Different schools are different.

Tidypidy- my DD had a lightbox last year, and has used it so much- she loves it!

bernadettesmurf · 21/12/2018 08:50

mummymayhem18 · 21/12/2018 09:59

Thanks for this thread, DD is only 5 but I'd forgotten that she'd love a light box, just found one for £6.99 in Argos!
