New tradition - Charities for Christmas gifts

The older I get the more aware and appalled I am at the state of our planet and the animals we continue to destroy so that we can continue to overpopulate the planet.

So, this Christmas I'm starting a new tradition of making a donation in each child's name and giving it as a present to them (amongst the toys!) to try and raise their awareness. But I'm short on time and realise some charities do more harm than good. Anyone have some good ones to recommend? I was thinking of David Attenborough world land trust?

Try goodgifts.org

Run by the charities commission, it has.a huge selection, home and abroad. All money goes to exactly what you're buying and you can the presents online.
