Hi guys, we are looking to potentially move to Chiswick/Twickenham area. We have a 1-year old boy who will start school in a couple of year's time. Are there good recommended schools in these two areas where you send or have sent your kids to? Are State schools good in these areas? Appreciate your help in our search.

The BBC just announced the dfe results for schools. You should look at these

Depends very much on what your other criteria are? Church school, and do you meet entrance criteria? Big/small school? What sort of discipline (strict behaviour code or free lovin' hippy style). Also, how important is the academic performance. I have an eight year old who isn't at all suited to the style of school I would have chosen for him at 1 yr old. We live in Twickenham. Happy to discuss further if you have more questions.

Hello all, we really like the Kew Gardens area and potentially may move there. Any feedback on the independent schools there (Kew College, Broomfield, KGPS) will be greatly appreciated. Are these schools as good as the ones in Richmond/Wimbledon/North London?
