So I found out at my 12 week scan today I’m expecting identical twins! I am still shocked and overwhelmed. We were all set to have the combined first screening scan. But when the sonographer said it was twins she suggested us going away and having a think about it as if we did have high risk results then the risk of miscarriage is so much higher in the invasive procedure. Meaning it can be so difficult to decide what to do next if results were high, and some people prefer just not to know at all. I don’t know what to do!? Has anyone had any experience of this? Or had screening in twin pregnancy? Any advice would be much appreciated! :)
