Any nice ale's that don't break the bank

So looking for some ale's that aren't too expensive. At the moment all I know of is a local brewers ale sold at the local off license which is amazing but so expensive one bottle can run a few pound so it's not a go to drink.
So looking for some nice ales. Anyone know of any that I'll be able to find in a supermarket like Tesco, Asda etc.

Lidl have a nice selection, I like their Hatherwood Golden Goose, and its £1.25 a bottle. They also do a good bottled pilsner.

Most of the supermarkets stock a decent selection these days. The range will likely depend on where you are in the UK as I'm in Scotland and find the local supermarkets do a lot of Scottish beers. Aldi is usually good for finding a random selection and sometimes find something a bit more unusual than asda/tesco. The Bacchus fruity beers are good if you like sour fruity beer and Leffe honey or cherry are delicious too. Oh my goodness now I want beer! But I'm 24 weeks pregnant so no beer for me for a while! Hope you find something delicious!!!!!!
