Does anyone have a popcorn maker? DD has asked for one for Xmas and I can't figure out what to buy to put in it?! Microwave popcorn or something else?

I would imagine just corn kernels, sometimes sold as popping corn. You can cook them in a saucepan with a lid too.

Good to have flavourings. Salt of course, I also like to do a tiny drizzle of maple syrup.

Yes supermarkets should sell them too

Tattybear16 · 20/12/2018 17:20

Sainsbury’s sell it in the baking isle at my local. It’s in a clear bag I think next to dried fruit and various nuts.

I've got one. It's brilliant for the kids (both toddlers, they have it plain so it's a guilt free snack!)
I get a bag of kernels from Tesco. It lasts ages because only a tablespoon of kernels makes a big bowl of popcorn.
