They are in the playground of the primary school across the road.

They are so cute! And their antlers are ginormous.

Now it feels like Xmas...

Has one got a red nose?

KeepServingTheFestiveSnogs · 20/12/2018 13:58

we need photos!!!

Do you live in Lapland? (I'm assuming it's not, say, Peckham!)

They're a bit like stone henge, much smaller than you imagine.

They are gorgeous aren't they ? I was surprised how small they were and smelly

KittenEsque · 20/12/2018 14:08

Photo’s a bit blurry as it was tricky getting one without the kids in it.

One of the classes is out seeing them now. The kids are so happy and excited.

HollyandIvyarelivingitupagain I just watched Spinal Tap Grin

KittenEsque · 20/12/2018 14:17

The one with the biggest antlers keeps trying to go up the wheelchair ramp into the school. The reindeer handler reindeer wrangler Santa isn’t having it though. He keeps hauling the reindeer back down. But he keeps kissing it to, so the reindeer’s not fussed about being diverted.

GlassLantern · 20/12/2018 14:53

GlassLantern · 20/12/2018 14:53

KittenEsque · 20/12/2018 20:09

And now I’ve just seen two alpacas in Santa hats.

What a day.

Thank you 😃
And now I want one of my own. The babies are adorable

KittenEsque · 21/12/2018 08:52

They are so cute.

MawkishTwaddle · 21/12/2018 08:54

Alpacas are not cute. They are the grumpiest buggers on four legs —and their spit is like stinky napalm—

(Ex-alpaca owner here)

KittenEsque · 21/12/2018 08:56

And a very Merry Christmas to you too Mawkish. Harrumph.

ARiverInEgypt · 21/12/2018 08:56

OMG I’ve just remembered what I want to get the DC for Xmas!

EastMidsGPs · 21/12/2018 09:02

I currently live with the grumpiest bugger on two legs 😉 (doesn't spit tho)

MawkishTwaddle · 21/12/2018 09:57

Frozenteatowel · 21/12/2018 10:39

Well that’s not something you see out of your window every day. How wonderful. And lucky children. I’d say if your Christmas hadn’t already started that it definitely has now Xmas Smile

DarlingNikita · 21/12/2018 10:41

it is all very cruel. the animals get stressed I'm inclined to agree with this. Surely it's not a good idea? Apart from anything else, depending on where in the world you are the weather might be too mild for them.

Birdsgottafly · 21/12/2018 10:41

Reindeer are my favourite animal.

I went to see some in a local shopping center last weekend. They are in a different one this weekend, but I'm wondering if I'll look like a wierd stalker if I go to see them.

KittenEsque · 21/12/2018 11:36

I live just outside the Cairngorms National Park Darling.

The reindeer were from the Cairngorm Reindeer Herd.
