Confused owls

I think this is my first ever post so please be gentle.

Owls. We have a few knocking about this neck of the woods. We're very near a massive woodland dahhnn sarfff and get the usual Tawny ones.
My partner was taught on various camps as a nipper how to copy various calls and ''talk to them''.
As you can imagine, this has caused hours of delight for me and the DCs.
This one that keeps coming over we just cannot figure out.
It sounds nothing like a Tawny but still has the whistly owl sound.
I've been on various websites and it's not a Barn Owl or anything on there.
It makes a definate woo hoo noise though.
Wise Mumsnetters - Please help!

Could it be another human?

DeepDarkWoods · 20/12/2018 00:54

Could it be two owls? I think the female and males have different calls

stayathomegardener · 20/12/2018 00:56
