It's one of those slow tv type things. Called ' All aboard! The sleigh ride'. Reindeer and a sledge walking along a trail in Norway 200 miles into the Arctic Circle. The woman is a Sami.

I've been semi-watching it semi-reading my book for the last 90 minutes with the tree lights on. A nice bit of winter peace.

I loved the one that was first aired last year. Is this a new one, or a repeat?

Oh I need to watch this. I spent 3 hours(!) a few weeks ago watching a train travel from the south to the north of Australia.

Most of the time there was nothing except desert/bush with the odd caption explaining points of interest along the route or about the history of the train route. But it was fascinating.

The train one. That's it! I was trying to remember, earlier, which one I'd watched quite recently. It was odd though, I didn't know it was on and had only flicked on to the channel it after it had started - I thought I was watching some surreal thriller film set on a train, until I finally clicked what it was!

The canal one was good too - wasn't that the first one, a few years ago now?

Slow tv is great isn't it!
