I'm sure they're not flying squares but I can't figure out what they are. Works-number something or other Confused.

There's an issue with a drone apparently. All flights have been delayed or rerouted.

ConverseStar2017 · 19/12/2018 22:52

Are they not some type of ground vehicles, i.e. the buses taking passengers to planes or for shunting luggage about?

FrenchSchnoodle · 19/12/2018 22:55

Oh god. I've just realised that I've answered a question that you didn't even ask!

Twitter says two drones in the airspace

Drones

megletthesecond · 19/12/2018 22:57

French maybe they're something to do with it.
converse I wondered ground vehicle too but I don't recall seeing them anywhere else.

Yes, ground vehicles. ATC have to know where they are so they don't plonk an A380 on top of them (and so they can cross the runway)

Svalberg · 19/12/2018 22:59

They are elsewhere, they just aren't visible to FR24

ConverseStar2017 · 19/12/2018 23:00

One of them is called "Follow Me" Grin

Haworthia · 19/12/2018 23:01

Yes, they’re ground vehicles. Other airports don’t seem to have them on radar. No idea why!

MrsKrankie · 19/12/2018 23:05

Also showing at BHX.

I bet the staff constantly curse those who named the ground. Although I guess you could have some fun too
