What is wrong with my mouth?!

For the last few days my mouth has been really painful.

Gums when I brush, under my tongue, even my lips.

Have just looked under my tongue and have a few small white sores. I don't think it's thrush as my tongue isnt white and there's no whiteness anywhere else.

I use corsodyl mouthwash every morning and brush twice a day. Last went to the hygienist 3 months ago.

What could this be?!

I recently had some sort of lurgy that affected my mouth. My tongue felt as though I'd just burnt it on hot coffee even though I hadn't and where my tongue joins my mouth was really sore. There were a couple of very small sores visible but nothing dramatic to see. After 2 weeks of this I got a sore throat and after 3 weeks was put on AB for my throat which cleared the mouth issue up.

You're the second poster I've seen on MN today mentioning a sore mouth and I'm now wondering if there's something going round!
