What do you do with all the Christmas chocs and wine?

Do you take your pick and put what you don't want in the staffroom? Do you take it all and regift? Do you eat it all?

Normally we do a class collection but it wasn't done this year so I'm worried my M&S chocs are going to be a paltry offering.

I take them home and they are eaten/drunk there by myself and my family, and any visiting friends/family too. Some years they have lasted well into the New Year, which is lovely and mostly they have long dates too.

None of the staff here seem to leave gifts in the staff room. They all take them home, unless it is specifically labelled as to the whole staff team.

I don't eat/drink it all. I usually redistribute among my family and friends, and if I have loads I take them to the old folks' home at the end of my street.

I really appreciate them all though.

I take them home and they are eaten over the festive period, either by our extended family or taken with us to share at other people’s houses.

I give mine to an old people’s home. I appreciate the thought though.

I eat and drink my way through the lot.

If they are a gift for me personally e.g. in a labelled bag), I take them home and thoroughly enjoy them! If its a wine I don't like (a certain few really don't agree with me), I have been known to regift but that is very few and far between. Nevertheless, everything is very much appreciated, however big or small.

Share them with wider family, eat too many of them then when January hits, whatever isn't opened will be donated to the food bank.

Sometimes we used to swappsies - wine for me and candles for my TT partner!

When I did that job - wine went to DH as I don't drink wine. Chocolates were devoured by myself! Mugs went to a charity shop.
