Would you drink this?

So I've just found a bottle of Baileys in the back of the cupboard unopened but the date on it ran out in October 2017. Would it be OK to drink still? DH seems to think it would be fine.

I'd definitely try it.

WhoKnewBeefStew · 19/12/2018 16:24

I’m sure the alcohol will have stopped it going off Grin

RJnomore1 · 19/12/2018 16:24

It might be a bit grainy and split but it shouldn't do you any harm

InanimateCarbonRod · 19/12/2018 16:24

We've been there. Don't do it!!! Xmas Envy

Vitalogy · 19/12/2018 16:31

Give it a good shake Xmas Smile

MummyBtothree · 19/12/2018 16:31

I'm tempted to try it but don't want to make myself sick. I might try and palm it off on the MIL first and see Shock

rabbitfoodadvocate · 19/12/2018 16:33

If it's thick like cream cheese...nope. Lol.

Bigonesmallone3 · 19/12/2018 16:34

Not with a Baileys I wouldn't

halfwitpicker · 19/12/2018 16:36

God no! It's dairy

MummyBtothree · 19/12/2018 16:41

DH's theory is that the alcohol would preserve it but I suspect he's just being a tight arse and trying to get out of buying another bottle Grin

Does it say Best Before or Use By? Use by ...then bin it. Best before... give it a taste...
