Maths question, if my snow machine fluid is dilution of 250ml to 5 litres, if I only want to make 1 litre, do I just use 50ml

OMG! I want one but have always been put off by the unknown.

How do you clean it up? Are the chemicals fairly safe? Could you ever use it indoors in a school hall? Or is that ridiculous?!
