Defrosted chicken

Got some chicken breasts out of freezer yesterday afternoon. Left them out but still not defrosted so put them in fridge and cooked something else. They are defrosted this morning but I don’t really want to cook them tonight. Will they last til tomorrow night? I normally use defrosted meat within 24 hours but hoping I am just being overly cautious!

I wouldn’t use them tomorrow night, no.

Cook them today and eat them tomorrow you really don't want to be faffing around with chicken like that.

They’ll be fine. Just smell them before you eat them. If they smell grim don’t eat them. Noses and eyes are much better than any labels!

Unless they were on the point of turning when you froze them, they'll be fine. Fresh bought chicken usually has a longer than 48 hour shelf life which is what you are talking about here.
