Has anyone ever started a thread about a CF and sent the thread to said CF?

Please, please share your story of doing this!

I think most ‘CF’ threads are flights of fantasy tbh, possibly rooted in a little dash of truth, and liberally sprinkled with embellishment.

really Sylvia?
I don't
There are obviously some like that, and there are others where we are only getting one very editted side of the story, but I think a lot of them are true. I know CF in real life, so why wouldn't they exist in other people's lives.

I tend to agree with @SylviaAndSydney tbh.

Not cf, but I started a thread about my DH and then showed him. He was rather cross but later admits that I 'might' have had a point.

I think most long winded CF stories start with a truthful story, told with bias. However when they continue and run with responses etc. then I think they go into fantasy.
However bil there are people who do naturally expect people to kowtow to them and do as they want.

I generally think that sending someone a thread is a very bad move and likely to cause all sorts of trouble IRL.

I also suspect that for many posters their version if the truth and the other party’s version of the true might be distinctly different.

Not because anyone is lying necessarily just because perception varies.
