Does anyone remember this board game from the 1970's?

The theme was around pop bands and getting smash hits and recording contracts and No 1 singles. It was a good luck or bad luck type game, similar to Monopoly but based on success in the music industry. Individual players rolled a dice or drew cards and advanced to stardom - or not - by having guest appearances in places like The Cavern or their latest single flopped! Lots of money was dished out just like Monopoly. It was a bright psychadelic board, think 10cc or The Who. We were discussing games but nobody I know remembers this one at all.....

I remember

Hype?

It's not Mike Reads Pop Quiz is it? It sounds a bit like that but I had that in the mid 80s I think

No, its neither of those. I have googled extensively and its not come up. Hence my turning to MN which often comes up trumps on trivia (no pun intended). :)

I remember this, I have been searching for it for ages but, like you I can't find anything. I think it may have been called Blockbusters.

I think this game was called Chartbusters. I have been searching for ages and just found it on the Internet. I remember an edition that was psychedelic on the front but a later edition had Tony Blackburn. I hope this helps.
